Alabama Swim School, we will be partnering with the Birmingham Parks and Recreational Center as (BPR) this year for the 2026 JSSC Summer swimming season.
Coach XXXX Head summer swim coach from BPR will be the head coach for all of you.
New swimmers not currently active on the roster will need to be evaluated by our coaching staff for training group placement.

Practice Schedule
PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Practice schedule below will begin June 1st till July 31st 2026. all practices will be @ the 24e swimming Pool ONLY for those swimmers swimming with Coach Rafael. Practice Schedule:
Monday at 7am to 8:15am
Wednesday at 7am to 8:15am
Friday at 7am to 8am
Sunday at 7:30am to 8:30am
We swimming ONLY in the mornings no afternoons

In the follow schedule you will have all information like
- Meet (Dual meet, Invitational, Guppy, Senior County)
- Meet Location, Address , Phone Number
- Google Map
- Warmup Times
- Meet Entries
- Meet Results
- Bring your own chairs, refreshments, tent, blankets, Sunscreen, Glasses, fresh fruit, Fresh pasta etc.
- Normally meet can take around 3 hours after the warmups
- Be there before the warmups times to making sure you're not late traffic sometimes are tricky
- Don't leave the pool after your child swim events check with coach Manuela sometimes kids will be swimming in the relay's
- Always cheer for your child and support the other kids
- Do NOT approach to the meet officials if you have any questions or concerns please ask me (Coach Rafael).
- After the Relays if you child swim you're done for the day if you child don't swim any relays after coaches confirmation you're free to go
- You will required to participate almost all dual meets
- Invitationals are optional but I'm encourage you to participate
- Senior County Championship will be for only those kids qualified according to the time standards See the folowing LINK
Kids events will the following
6 and Under Age groups both genders will be swimming (Dual meets aloud only 3 events plus Relay's 25 Yards Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke or Butterfly
7 - 8 Age groups both genders will be swimming (Dual meets aloud only 3 events plus Relay's 25 Yards Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke or Butterfly
9 - 10 Age groups both genders will be swimming (Dual meets aloud only 3 events plus Relay's 50 Yards Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke or Butterfly
11 - 12 Age groups both genders will be swimming (Dual meets aloud only 3 events plus Relay's 50 Yards Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke or Butterfly
13 - 14 Age groups both genders will be swimming (Dual meets aloud only 3 events plus Relay's 50 Yards Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke or Butterfly
15 - 18 Age groups both genders will be swimming (Dual meets aloud only 3 events plus Relay's 50 Yards Freestyle, Backstroke, Breastroke or Butterfly
Swimming Invitationals 8 and Under can swim 25, 50 yards plus 100 IM (Individual Medley order of the strokes will be Butterfly, Backstroke, Breastroke and Freestyle 25 Yards swim continuously each stroke
Swimming Invitationals 9 and Over can swim 50, 100 yards plus 100 IM (Individual Medley order of the strokes will be Butterfly, Backstroke, Breastroke and Freestyle 25 Yards swim continuously each stroke
Senior county championship it's a two day meet 10 and Unders in the Mornings 11 and over in the afternoon Saturday and Sunday will be at the Crossplex
